
Fall fun is happening all over the county with multiple activities for candy lovers.
Downtown McMinnville Trick-or-Treat will take place on Friday, October 28 from 2-5 p.m. Participating downtown businesses will have an orange pumpkin displayed in their windows and handing out candy.
This year, Downtown McMinnville has partnered with McMinnville Special Games and will be offering a trick or treat schedule for the community with special needs from 10 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. Several downtown businesses will have stations of sensory tricks or treats during this time. . These businesses will have a teal pumpkin displayed in their windows.
On Saturday, October 29, Dayspring Community Church will host a Trunk-or-Treat from 2-5 p.m. There will be a cake walk, bouncy house, wagon rides and snacks. There will be all kinds of candies available and they encourage children to bring their goody bags. They are located at 4295 Smithville Hwy.
There will be a Trunk-or-Treat at Christ Central Church on Sunday, October 30 from 2-4 p.m. It will take place in the church parking lot and will include decorated trunks for children to play with. They will also have a bouncy house and balloon art from the Balloon Dude. They encourage everyone to go out for a day of fun followed by an evening of worship. They are located at 101 E Morford St.
The First United Methodist Church will also be hosting a Trunk-or-Treat on Sunday, October 30 from 2-4 p.m. They invite everyone to come and enjoy sweets, treats, a bouncy house and good company. It will be held in the Christian Community Center parking lot and they are located at 200 W. Main St.
The Irving College Baptist Church will host a Trunk-or-Treat at the Fair View Community Center on October 30 from 3-5 p.m. They invite everyone to join them for an afternoon of candy, frozen yogurt, cotton candy and more.
Christ Chapel is hosting a Harvest Festival on Monday, October 31 beginning at 5 p.m. They will have a trunk or a treat, as well as hot dogs, fries and drinks. They are located at 200 Chapel Dr.
McMinnville Parks and Recreation is hosting its 10th annual Trail of Treats on October 31 from 5-6:30 p.m. Trail of Treats is a free, family-friendly event at the Milner Recreation Center.
Local cheaters should have no trouble finding candy or other fun things to do this holiday season.
