The Twin Rivers Choir is preparing a new video
Castlegar Community Choir will hold online rehearsals until PHO orders change
The tenacious Twin Rivers Community Choir have exciting plans for a community video project and will begin their 2022 season in an online format until current PHO restrictions are lifted.
“We will not be stopped by COVID19!” says art director Christina Allen.
“Safe singing options are available online and with a small tweak in the way we do things, we can continue the momentum of our fall season and introduce the community to a wonderful new production at the same time.”
The choir is thrilled to announce a video partnership with Stacked Films’ Tyler Hadikin on the upcoming project.
“Stacked Films will bring drone technology to the production and allow the choir to film together safely, outdoors, and socially distanced,” Allen explained.
The choir is still welcoming new members. Interested parties should consult twinriverschoir.com for further details. All participants must be fully registered, which includes signing a COVID19 2022 Membership Agreement and providing proof of vaccination if they choose to attend in person once available.
Rehearsals take place on Thursday evenings. In-person rehearsals take place at New Life Church and online rehearsals take place via Zoom.
An information meeting will take place on January 13 at 7 p.m. via Zoom. This meeting will be recorded for those unable to attend and will outline plans for the upcoming season.
Online singing rehearsals will begin January 20 and extend as needed.
