
The Turlock Gospel Mission and some local churches are teaming up to bring Easter food and fun to homeless children and adults.
The Easter feast includes meals and services, as well as two activities for children.
The festivities began Thursday when TGM served about 100 people a dinner prepared by volunteers, followed by a Good News Kids Club Easter party for children sponsored by the Child Evangelism Fellowship Group.

On Good Friday a special meal was served by Kings Way Church and Pastor Bill Wall presented a message of sacrifice and redemption for Easter.
The Easter Bunny will make a special visit with the children on Saturday. The Hughson United Methodist Church will distribute filled Easter baskets to each child. In addition, there will also be the opportunity to take family photos at Easter. The Easter party starts at 5 p.m.
Mission guests will attend Easter Sunday services in their home churches.
All special dinners and activities will be held at the Turlock Gospel Mission at 437 S. Broadway.
