ANDOVER Chamber Choir will support the city’s I Can Therapy Center with their upcoming spring concert.
The concert, titled ‘From Dawn Till Dusk’, will be the Andover Chamber Choir’s first appearance since Covid temporarily suspended live performances and will also be their first appearance under their new name.
It will take place at St Michael and All Angel’s Church, Colebrook Way on Saturday 2 April.
Music Director Andrew Wyndham said: “It’s a beautiful program of mostly sacred music spanning over five hundred years and charting a course through a single day, from pre-dawn dark to sunset. Composers range from Thomas Tallis to John Rutter.

For several years the Andover Chamber Choir have performed local concerts around the town in aid of local charities and this year it is the turn of the local charity Valley Leisure, in particular the I Can therapy centre.
Valley Leisure established the I Can Therapy Center in 2017 and moved to Andover town center in April 2021. A range of specially adapted assisted exercise equipment is available at the center and enables users to move more and to feel better, which is the center’s main mission. charity.
Veronica Bacon, member of the Andover Chamber Choir and client of the I Can Therapy Center, has been using the center since 2018 and said, “The I Can Therapy Center is a really special place. Having tried to cope with health issues for many years, I reluctantly started out thinking I couldn’t cope, but with the support of the wonderful team at I Can, I thought I could. being able to do it, and now I can confidently say I maintained and improved my mobility and I feel better.
“As a member of the Andover Chamber Choir we always like to do what we can to support charities and local organizations and this year we are delighted to support Valley Leisure’s I Can Therapy Center as they help so much people to move and mobilize. keeps people independent and feels good.

I Can Charity Champion Cllr Iris Andersen added: “Please come support the Andover Chamber Choir.
