The activities of the UOC-MP were banned in Pereyaslav

Deputies of the Pereyaslav city council decided to ban the activities of the UOC-MP and its organizations.

The Pereyaslav City Council considered the issue of measures to prevent the splitting of their territorial community on religious grounds and pro-Russian propaganda in the temples of the Moscow Patriarchate.

The deputies decided to ban the activities of the UOC-MP and its organizations. Therefore, members of the UOC-MP are prohibited from holding meetings, rallies, marches and any other mass demonstrations. The decisions were approved unanimously.

Today in Pereyaslav there are such churches of the Moscow Patriarchate as the Church of the Assumption (Maidan Knyazhiy Dvir), the Trinity Church (Gymnasium Street, 1), the Church of St. Michael ( 34 Sikorsky St.), Borisoglebsk Church (7a Borysoglibska St.).

There are also UOC-MP churches in Vovchkiv, Haishyn, Velyka Karatula and Demyantsi.
