Tacoma, WA – Tacoma Refugee Choir is delighted to announce that we will be hosting a “Let There Be Peace On Earth” concert at Anchor Church on Saturday December 18, 2021 at 3:00 PM to celebrate this holiday season together.
The concert features solos by Tacoma Refugee Choir director Erin Guinup and members of the choir, as well as performances by the Tacoma Refugee Choir. Songs include “Silent Night” sung in 9 languages, including Farsi, Hebrew, and Khmer, “Carol of the Bells” sung in Ukrainian, and TRC’s original “Moon Song” which was inspired by sightings of boys. in detention and reminds us that we are all connected to each other. The choir will also sing “This is My Wish” with the chorus “Let there be peace on Earth,” which was last performed at TRC’s TEDx conference in 2017.

All proceeds from this concert will benefit the operations, programming and free participation of TRC for all of our members. Tickets range from $ 0 to $ 100 and reserved tickets are required to attend in person. A free live stream will also be available. Tickets can be reserved at www.refugeechoir.org.
Proof of Covid-19 vaccination or negative Covid-19 test results taken within 72 hours of the event are required to attend this event in person. Spectators must wear a mask to attend this concert and places are limited.
TRC’s mission is to create spaces of authentic expression, interconnection and healing through song and music. TRC started as a pilot project in August 2016 with a group of 22 refugees and community members. The program was well received and quickly grew to create a welcoming and positive learning experience for more than 700 participants from 57 countries as well as various members of the United States coming together to spread love, hope and belonging.
