Francene Marie interviews Kevin Brawley, director of the AMPLIFY After-School choir. The children’s choir was created by Carolina Voices. We are so proud of Brawley because he was awarded the 2019 CMA National Excellence Teacher of Music award and also won the CMS Elementary School Choir Director award. Carolina Voices is Charlotte’s oldest choral organization, which makes the initiative exciting. The first AMPLIFY After School Choir kicks off Thursday, September 1 at Myers Park Church.
