A variety of holiday activities are planned for the city of Nebraska, with more to be announced as Christmas approaches. Here are some of the upcoming events:
Visiting holiday homes
The Nebraska City FCCLA will be hosting a vacation home tour from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday, December 4. Seven houses are expected to participate in the tour and tickets will be $ 20. Refreshments will be served at the NCTC office, 806 1st Ave.
Tickets must be presented at each location for admission to the house. Proceeds will be donated to the NCPS FCCLA State Leadership Conference Fund.
40th Advent recital
The annual Nebraska City Advent recital is scheduled to return to St. Mary’s Catholic Church, 218 N. 6th St., at 6 p.m. on Sunday, December 5.
Music groups from local churches and the community will perform, and a voluntary donation will be collected.
Christmas at the Manor
The Arbor Lodge State Park mansion allows visitors to step back in time and experience the vacations just like the Morton family did with a unique Christmas at the Mansion.
Guests can see the 52-room Arbor Lodge Mansion at its best during the holiday season. They can also enjoy vintage decor, special holiday-themed collections on display, and holiday music to get in the spirit of the season.
This activity is available every Friday, Saturday and Sunday from December 3 to 19 and is included with the purchase of an Arbor Lodge ticket. Admission: $ 9 adults, $ 7 youth (3-12 years old). Questions? Call 402-873-7222.
Tree Adventure Reindeer Hunting
Santa’s reindeer are lost in Tree Adventure, and he needs the help of the guests to find them!
Visitors can take part in a fun all-ages scavenger hunt to find out where the reindeer hide along the Tree House Trail.
Then they can use a special mailbox to send a letter to Santa to let him know where to find his reindeer in time for his Christmas ride!
This activity is available during normal hours from November 27 through December 23 and is included with a Tree Adventure admission.
Admission for adults is $ 13, $ 11 for children 3 to 12 years old. Children 2 and under are admitted free.
Entry is only by reservation at this time. Visit https://www.arbordayfarm.org/admission/ to make a reservation.
Questions? Please call 402-873-8717.

In addition to tea, participants can visit Arbor Lodge. Reservations are required as places are limited.
