Choirs from Madison Central High School performed a special piece dedicated to the Ukrainian people.
According to a Facebook post by Madison Central vocal and choir teacher Lisa Jury, the piece was arranged by Andrea Ciona and for the people of Ukraine. Peace is “Prayer for Ukraine” and is an adaptation of a song performed in Ukrainian Orthodox churches at the end of their religious services.

The next school council will be held on Tuesday March 29 at 6:30 p.m. at the library
SCHOOL SPELLING REPORT
The school-wide spelling bee will take place on Friday, April 1 at 1:30 p.m. in the gymnasium. Any student who qualifies for their class spelling bee on March 25 will be eligible to participate. Parents are invited and encouraged to come and support their spellings.
NO SCHOOL
The school will be closed from April 4 to 8 for spring break and April 15 for Good Friday.
COVID-19 Update
As of March 21, there were 11 confirmed cases of COVID-19 among K-12 students in Madison County and one confirmed case of COVID-19 among staff and teachers at Madison County schools.

• One confirmed case of COVID-19 among students and zero among staff and faculty.

• Zero confirmed cases of COVID-19 among students and one among staff and faculty.
