
Berkshire Concert Choir will perform Vivaldi’s ‘Gloria’ at 7:00 p.m. on Saturday January 8 and at 3:00 p.m. on Sunday January 9 at St. Ann’s Church, 134 Main St. The choir will be accompanied by an ensemble of eight musicians and soloists Marcella Bradway and Karen Ketcham, sopranos, and Patience Jenkins, mezzo.
Other music includes “The Shepherd’s Farewell” by Berlioz and “The Work of Christmas” by Dan Forest. Ketcham will play “The Son of Mary” by Miguel Llobet on the Irish harp.
Now in its 44th year, the Berkshire Concert Choir is conducted by Matthew O. Thomas. The guide is Amy Renak.

A portion of ticket sales will be donated to Kids 4 Harmony, administered by 18 Degrees Family Services for Western Mass. The choir distributed free tickets to music students and their tutors at Kids 4 Harmony and to middle and high school students at Berkshire Music School. .
The church is accessible to people with reduced mobility. Participants 19 years of age and over will need to present their COVID-19 vaccination record and ID. Singers will be masked and spectators will also be required to wear face masks. Social distancing will also be required.
