A popular choir is about to celebrate 20 years of singing together while continuing a year of exciting concerts and events.
The Pakefield Singers will bring something very special on Saturday April 9 at St Mary’s Church, Halesworth.
The choir returns with a special rendition of Faure’s iconic Requiem, paired with a special version for mixed choir of Pergolesi’s beloved Stabat Mater.
Much-loved Norwich organist Tim Patient will once again accompany the choir.
Vetta Wise, Founder and Conductor of Pakefield Singers, said: “We are fortunate to have singers in the choir who are talented soloists in their own right.
“I decided it was time for them to move on, as was happening in the first performances of choral works.
“I hope that the public will be delighted and amazed when they hear the result of the care that we put together to prepare the beautiful solo sections, as well as the great choir numbers!”
The concert starts at 7:30 p.m. and it is advisable to book early.
Tickets costing £12.50 are available from The Halesworth Bookshop, Take Note Music, Lowestoft or call 01502 573733.
