
Chillicothe Police received 102 calls for service on Wednesday.
3:50 a.m., a 2-year-old child has been reported missing from a residence in the 1500 block of Third Street. Shortly after receiving the report, officers were told to ignore the fact that the child was in a closet and had fallen asleep.
3:55 AM An officer assisted with animal control at the animal shelter due to an issue with a frozen lock. The officer was able to help get in.
6:29 am Traffic light malfunction report on Clay and Washington streets. The MoDOT has been notified of the problem. At 8:51 a.m. the lights would be on again.
11:03 am, a call from an owner reported that it was determined that damage to a telephone booth on a residence in Block 700 of Commercial that had been reported to an officer was determined to have been caused by a vehicle driving under a cable in the alley behind the residence.
12:27 pm, Subject calling to inquire about people violating owner-imposed housing restrictions. Indicated that this is a civil matter.
1:54 p.m., Officer in the 200 block of Church Street on an investigation.
2:46 p.m., Several calls from concerned people about a reported dog bite and vaccination records. Officer handling and viewing gunfire recordings.
3:09 PM 911 reported a disruption in the 1000 block of S. Washington Street. Officers checked and discovered that the call had been made by a young child. No disturbance was noted.
9:03 p.m., complaint for loud music in block 100 of Conn Street. The agent made contact and was asked to turn down the music.
