
There’s a jam-packed lineup of events for Carrick Carnival this Saturday, June 4, including:
The Willow Woman workshop at Red Bank Restaurant from 10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. This event must be pre-booked.
A day of free fun for children in the People’s Park from 12 p.m. to 5 p.m.
Entertainment will be provided by a marching band at St Mary’s Church. This free event starts at 12 p.m.
There will be a free exhibit after the Willow Woman workshop at the Red Bank Restaurant from 12:30 p.m. to 1:30 p.m.
HuKuna Matata is hosting a free acrobatics show at the Market Yard from 12:30 p.m. to 1 p.m.
An exhibition of vintage cars will take place in the parking lot of the Chamber from 12:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m.
Knickaty Knack’s Krafty Corner is hosting a workshop at Red Bank Restaurant from 2-3 p.m. Pre-booking is required.
The Tennis Club organizes an Open Day from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m.
There will also be a free event with community sports clubs at People’s Park from 2-5 p.m. and a free event for community groups at the Market Yard, also between 2-5 p.m.
The marching band will perform again at St Mary’s Church at 2.30pm.
A second Knickaty Knack Krafty Corner workshop will take place at Red Bank from 3:30-4:30 p.m. Pre-booking is required.
HuKuna Matata will be performing a free acrobatics show at the chamber parking lot starting at 4:45 p.m.
The marching band will perform again at Linear Park at 4:30 p.m.
Finally, the free event The Sky’s A Lie takes place at the Dock from 10 p.m. to midnight.
