
TOWSON, MD—National Victims of Crime Rights Week (NCVRW) runs from April 24-30. This year’s theme is Rights, access, equity, for all victims. It highlights the importance of helping survivors of crime achieve justice by upholding victims’ rights, expanding access to services, and ensuring fairness and inclusion for all.
Each April, the US Department of Justice office for victims of crime coordinates National Victims of Crime Rights Week to promote victims’ rights and services and to honor victims of crime and those who advocate for them.
Across the country, communities are celebrating decades of hard-won progress to secure the rights, resources and protection that victims of crime need to rebuild their lives. BCoPD’s goal is to educate all associations in Baltimore County.
Here are the events that will take place in Baltimore County raise awareness of the rights, protections and services of victims of crime. Keep checking this list for updates.

Activity: Fundraising campaign for the benefit of the Family Crisis Centerexternal link, a center for the fight against domestic violence. Necessary donations include personal hygiene items (shampoo, deodorant, soap, combs, brushes, etc.), diapers, pull-ups, baby wipes, sanitizer, play and wrap sheets, socks (all sizes), towels, purses and bags, small household goods, cleaning supplies.
