
The following activities are planned for Lewis & Clark Recreation Area this weekend:
• 10am-11:30am — ROCK AND ROLL TRIVIA LOCKBOX: Race against each other to see who can be the first to unlock the safe. Go to the Lewis and Clark Amphitheater
• 3:30 to 5 p.m. — “ROCKS” NATURE BINGO: Come and win prizes. Meet at the Chief White Crane Amphitheater
• 7pm-7:45pm — LUMINEUX CRAFT: Meet at Gavin’s Shelter #2.
• 7:45 to 8:30 p.m. — ROCK THE NIGHT SKY FIREFLIES HIKE: Observe fireflies in their natural habitat. Go to Gavin’s refuge #2.
• 9 to 11 a.m. — FISHING: north shore of Yankton Lake. Meet the naturalists for free perch and bait. To Chief White Crane.
• 9 a.m., 10 a.m., 11 a.m. — ARCHERY: From 8 years old; pre-registration is required. Call 605-668-2985 or register at the Lewis and Clark Welcome Center. Meet at Gavin’s Point Archery Range.
• 1 to 2:30 p.m. — ROCK AND ROLL CRAFTS: Paint rocks, create your own instruments and more. Meet at the Lewis and Clark Amphitheater.
• 6:00 to 7:00 p.m. — SOCK HOP PARTY GAMES: Take a trip down memory lane and enjoy 1950s party games and scavenger hunts. Meet at the Lewis and Clark Amphitheater.
• 7 to 9 p.m. — LIVE MUSIC BY MIKE and JAY: Bring your lawn chairs and relax for an evening of music and refreshments. Meet at the Lewis and Clark Amphitheater.
• 10:30 a.m. — NATIONAL CHURCH SERVICE: Pierson Ranch Amphitheater
• Day camp — 4 to 6 years old: 9 a.m. to 11 a.m.; 7-9 years old – 1 p.m.-3 p.m.
