FROM FATHER, Wisconsin (WFRV) – St. Norbert College’s Dudley Birder Choir will present two separate Christmas performances in December: “Christmas with the Choir” and “Holiday Pops”.
According to a press release:
+ “Christmas with the Choir”, a new holiday concert, presents sacred Christmas favorites. Performances will be at 7:30 p.m. on Saturday, December 4 and at 2 p.m. on Sunday, December 5 at the Nativity of Our Lord Parish, 2270 S. Oneida St., Ashwaubenon.
The chorale will be accompanied by a piano, organ and an assortment of instruments.
In lieu of tickets, donations will be accepted at the door and online at https://snc.edu/birderchorale.
Statement regarding the choir’s COVID-19 concerns: “While masks and distancing are not required at the Catholic Church of Our Lord’s Nativity, the Dudley Birder Choir strongly encourages all members of the public to wear appropriate masks or face coverings when attending these performances. Artists will be masked to reduce the spread of viral particles. “
+ “Holiday butterflies”, long-standing tradition as “Green Bay’s biggest musical holiday celebration” returns at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday, December 11, in the Cofrin Family Room at the University of Wisconsin-Green Bay’s Weidner Center for the Performing Arts .
The Kent Paulsen-led performance will also feature the Holiday Pops Orchestra, the Birder Studio of Performing Arts Youth Choir and members of the Northeastern Wisconsin Dance Organization.

Named in honor of its founder, the Dudley Birder Choir since 1974 “has set the standard for choral excellence in their performance of great masterpieces, holiday classics and performances of popular songs. brings together a community to rehearse and perform the highest quality choral music for the enrichment of all.
The chorale normally consists of 150 voices, with singers from 30 communities in the region.
