The Twin Rivers Community Choir’s fall season is about to begin
The Twin Rivers Community Choir invites new members as they kick off their fall performing season.
The Castlegar Community Choir will begin singing in person at New Life Church (602 7th Street, Castlegar) on Thursday, September 8, 7-9 p.m. Everyone is invited to join.
The choir will prepare a variety of seasonal songs in preparation for a public concert in December, back by popular demand.
Singers can expect to jump straight into classics old and new, and have a blast from the first few minutes.
“Group singing is proven to build community and social bonds and can help combat the effects of our prolonged isolation,” says choir director Christina Allen. “The only requirement is a positive mental attitude and a good dose of patience! »
Singers should be prepared to move freely, have fun, and make happy noise. The choir is open to adult singers of all ages and abilities.
Learning tracks are provided to help choristers learn their songs, so the ability to read music is not a requirement. Details of the Twin Rivers Community Choir and registration information can be found at twinriverschoir.com/join.
