Alex Unusual, Ebuka Obi-Uchendu, Efe and Teddy A were among the BBNaija stars who honored the song service of Rico Swavey, their late colleague, on Wednesday.
Swavey deceased last Thursday — a few days after being involved in a terrible car accident.
The Night of Tributes and Candlelight was held in his honor at Retro Citi, Victoria Island axis of Lagos State.
Other celebrities who attended the occasion included Dorathy Bachor, Cross, Bambam and Arin as well as John Ugbe, Director of Multichoice Nigeria.
At the event, Rico’s co-workers paid touching tributes to him while some of the reality TV stars broke down in tears.
Rico’s family had earlier announced that he would be buried at Ebony Vaults in Ikoyi on Thursday after a private church service at Trinity Methodist Church.
The singer’s death has been met with a chorus of condemnation since pictures of his final moments resurfaced online
Some of Swavey’s fans had accused staff at Doren Specialist Hospital in Lagos of recording the footage, but the establishment fired the allegations.
The Lagos State Government has also announced the opening of an investigation in matter.
The Nigerian Medical Association (NMA) Monday in partnership with the Lagos State Government to investigate the circumstances surrounding the death of the reality TV star.
