Island Consort Chamber Choir will present a spring program at Knox United Church
The choir presents a selection of short poems, baroque, Scottish folk and vocal jazz
The Island Consort Chamber Choir will present its spring program at Knox United Church next month.
The choir, conducted by Bruce Farquharson, will perform a selection of short poems by Edgar Allen Poe, William Shakespeare, Robert Burns and Henry Longfellow. The music will include genres such as baroque, Scottish folk, vocal jazz and plainchant.
The concert begins at 7:30 p.m. on May 9. Admission is $20 for adults, $5 for students, and free for children under 13.
Masks are expected and vaccination is highly recommended.
