
On Saturday, April 9 at 10 a.m., the annual jump to health will be hosted by the McMinnville Junior Auxiliary. This year’s location is Three Star Mall. There will be booths offering games, prizes, candy and other fun activities and giveaways from various companies. There will also be story time at 10 a.m., a Hula Hoop competition at 10:15 a.m., CrossFit at 10:30 a.m. and yoga at 11 a.m.
• On Saturday, April 9, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., there will be a Spring Fling Eggstravaganza offered at The Shops of Rock Island. There will be surprise discounts, food trucks and egg painting. Mill Rock Farms will have special presentations by beekeeper Annie Gooch, with demonstrations and honey tasting all day, and Deputy Jake with drug dog Kilo, the Dutch Shepherd, will be available at 1 p.m.
• On Saturday, April 9, from 12 p.m. to 4 p.m., Easter Bunny photos with your pet will be offered by Friends of the Warren County Tn Shelter. Sign up on the association’s Facebook page. Time slots are available. The cost for a 15 minute session is $20. All proceeds benefit the Warren County Animal Adoption and Control Center. Photos taken at 169 Paws Trail.
• The Town of McMinnville’s annual Egg Hunt will take place on Saturday, April 16 from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm. The event will take place at Jungle Jimm and Hoover-Millraney Field. It costs $3 per child to participate and there will be five different age groups with designated egg hunt times. The first age group is 0-2 years old and will take place at 9 am at Hoover-Millraney Field. 8-10 year olds will start at 9 a.m. at Jungle Jym. Ages 3-4 will start at 10:45 a.m. at Hoover Millraney Field. Ages 11-14 will start at 10:45 a.m. at Jungle Jym. 5-7 year olds will start at 12 p.m. and hunt at Jungle Jym.
• Christ United Methodist is holding an egg hunt on Saturday, April 16 at 1 p.m. at the Church, 200 Chapel Dr.
