
On Children’s Day at the Midland Mall from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday, January 29, families can enjoy a respite from the winter blues.
Join Lou E. Loon and Jewls the Clown for a day of fun and hands-on activities for families and kids of all ages and abilities. There will be performances on the center stage by Che Ko and Gray Wolf Martial Arts Academies and the Elite Arts Company, as well as story time, cheerleaders and more.
This year’s sponsors are Hidden Treasures Preschool, St. John’s Episcopal Church, Disability Network of Mid-Michigan, High Country Jumpers, Mid-Michigan Laser Combat, Mid-Land Realtors and Nightlife Entertainment.
Throughout the mall, children will be able to participate in activities such as crafts, games and hands-on activities offered by businesses and organizations in the Midland area. Kids can also experience a police cruiser and enjoy the bouncy house and 4-H petting zoo, while parents check out information about schools, preschools, sports teams, the arts and many other opportunities. and services available in the Great Lakes Bay area.
