The choir, made up of members aged 6 to 18, performed a song they had written during the lockdown.
The song, titled Welcome Home, aimed to bring together families whose parents were on deployment.
Ahead of their act, a video showed Simon Cowell walking to the choir’s church and inviting them to perform at the talent show, leaving the kids shocked.
Along with the performance, the choir presented a collection of photos depicting members of the armed forces returning home to their families.
And it seemed to touch the hearts of the judges and the audience, as the choir received a standing ovation from both – without a dry eye in the house.
Wiping away tears, Amanda gushed from the performance and showed her admiration for the children, saying, “I’m a mess, when the pictures of you with your moms and dads came up, that’s when I collapsed.
“I just think how strong you all are to have to go without them when they are doing something so amazing for us.
“It’s incredibly selfless of you to lend them to us for our own safety – so thank you,” she continued.

The group of children opened up about bullying, before telling a great story through their dance performance.
They were also a hit with the judges, as Amanda said they ‘reduced me to tears’, while Simon described it as ‘the best audition we’ve seen all day’.
But it wasn’t just heartwarming numbers that took the stage on Saturday night, as the judges were left on the edge of their seats during a captivating performance by acrobatic band The Freaks.
The group took their act to new heights with a series of daring stunts, including using some members as human jump ropes.

While another girl was catapulted into the air before falling back again, leaving Amanda and Alesha Dixon shaking in their seats.
The group had the two women covering their eyes in fear as they whispered, “Pretend that was your daughter.”
But after they managed to dig it out of the bag, they received a standing ovation as David called it ‘one of the most extraordinary things we’ve seen on Britain’s got talent’.
Then, a spooky act took things to new heights as they smashed a cockroach-filled apple into Amanda’s hand – leaving her and Alesha to scream and run off the panel.
The witch act had each judge pick an apple and bite into it, before opening the last apple on Amanda and releasing the bugs onto the panel.
